Artist Directory production use is recorded for the 2026 market; this does not classify every SWAIA artifact or assert current availability.
Situation
Two distinct engagements with the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts: an Indigenous-art commerce platform in 2023–2024, then the Artist Directory in May–August 2026.
Commitment
Build and deliver the Artist Directory as the system of record for Santa Fe Indian Market. This was a client obligation, not a speculative product.
Constraint
The directory served a real annual market and represented roughly 2,500 artist records and 14,900 artworks. Those are recorded data volumes, not usage or sales measures.
Zach’s ownership
Principal Architect & Designer on the earlier commerce work; Contract Developer on the directory. The recorded repositories establish direct authorship. They do not establish independent technical review.
Critical decisions
The commerce engagement brought marketplace and applied-AI features together. The later directory used a distinct record system with role-based access. These are separate commitments and architectures, not one continuous project.
System
Commerce: Next.js, Supabase, Stripe Connect, recommendation, search, and conversational assistance. Artist Directory: Next.js on Vercel, Neon Postgres, and three access roles.
Result
The Artist Directory was delivered and used by SWAIA as its 2026 market system of record. The organization returned after the earlier engagement. Repeat engagement and operational use are the outcomes established here; no payment or sales claim is made.
Handoff
Production use is documented. Infrastructure ownership and completed operational transfer still require confirmation; they are not inferred from deployment linkage.
Evidence & limits
Contract Developer, SWAIA, May–August 2026. Built and delivered the Artist Directory — the system of record for Santa Fe Indian Market, covering roughly 2,500 artist records and 14,900 artworks.
Repeat engagement and delivered system. Counts describe the recorded system, not current users or adoption. This evidence does not establish completed infrastructure handoff.
Principal Architect & Designer, SWAIA (Southwestern Association for Indian Arts). Built the Indigenous-art commerce platform on Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe Connect, with the recommendation, search, and conversational-assist features built directly.
Authored client work, not independent acceptance. The February 2023 start is author-stated.

Technical documentation & source account
Technical context
The 2023–2024 commerce engagement and the May–August 2026 Artist Directory are separate systems. The earlier platform used Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe Connect with recommendation, search, and conversational-assist features. The directory used Next.js on Vercel and Neon Postgres with three access roles.
The canonical professional record establishes the directory’s production use for the 2026 market. Repository authorship establishes contribution; it is not independent technical acceptance. Infrastructure ownership and completed handoff remain unconfirmed.
