Director of Innovation, Colormatics
Led an innovation division building AI tools for video and post-production — live rotoscoping, active object callouts, in-camera image masking — with the product strategy and architecture behind them.
Product and systems engineer in Spokane, WA. I build the customer-facing systems where technology becomes experience, and the architecture underneath that lets teams ship them repeatedly.
I work across the whole product: product strategy, AI product architecture, software architecture, UX and design systems, commerce platforms, creative technology, and physical manufacturing. In plain terms, I design the product architecture, workflows, data models, interfaces, and operating systems that let a team build complex products again and again without standing over every step.
The throughline across two decades is consistent: build the machine that builds the thing, then engineer it to run without supervision. I've done that in both software and physical production — a rare pairing, and the core of what I build now.

Architected and designed an Indigenous-art commerce platform on Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe Connect; built recommendation, search, and conversational-assist features directly, early in the applied-AI cycle.
Built and taught an interdisciplinary web and UX/UI curriculum that lifted enrollment ~20%; started a student-run consultancy and industry internship pipelines.
Tabletop-gaming hardware company. Kickstarter cleared its goal at ~330% (~$100K on-platform + ~$75K presales), followed by ~$500K in seed capital. Stood up an autonomous just-in-time manufacturing line, including a nano-ceramic-coated magnetic game board.
Digital product and design studio; led a team of ten-plus. Brand and product work for Amazon, Nike, Intel, Dell, MassMutual, Novo Nordisk, and MediaTek, from direct clients to national engagements delivered with agencies.
Regional tech nonprofit: 50+ volunteers, 200+ events, a municipal-broadband initiative carried to a unanimous council vote. Mayoral Award for community leadership.
Front-end and web roles on national-brand campaigns (GE, GM, Adobe, Gilead, Celebrity Cruises) through agencies including AKQA and Mekanism; led an OpenEye CMS rebuild that drove a ~320% increase in leads.
